The last part contributed 55 new FAQs for games that didn't have any yet, let's keep this counter going. And for anybody else who wants to know, here's the list of the un-FAQed games:

Thanks again to Revned for the list!

Hey adaml, thanks for your help with Sky Kid in the other topic. You saved me lots of playing time. So do the levels repeat, or are new ones generated after 11?
From: adaml | Posted: 1/12/2005 6:53:34 PM | Message Detail
The stages seem to repeat, with Stage 12 corresponding to Stage 1. I might be imagining that the difficulty gets harder when the stages repeat, but you would think they wouldn't be exactly the same.

A FAQ for this game would be cool though, explaining all the secret ways to get bonus points and such.

American NES games left to beat: 16
Last 3 NES games beaten: Black Bass, Blue Marlin, AD&D Hillsfar [Updated 7/14/04]
From: Revned | Posted: 1/12/2005 6:59:42 PM | Message Detail
I'm going to try to include everything I can. I'm definitely putting in the sun thing and the Statue of Liberty one. Also, if you do a loop over a billboard you get a ribbon and points too. I wrote the How to Play section and 2 of the level walkthroughs so far. I can probably finish it in the next couple days or so.
From: Revned | Posted: 1/12/2005 7:01:01 PM | Message Detail
Just found another one. If you do a loop while touching one of the dancing girls on the ground, some hearts float up.
From: adaml | Posted: 1/12/2005 10:31:08 PM | Message Detail
There's also this robot jack-in-the-box thing on every 10th stage. Either hit it directly with a bomb or do a loop into it and the head pops up.

Since the old topic's locked, I'll suggest for somebody to FAQ Shockwave again. If you FAQ it tell me and I'll give you what I have so far, as long as you let me use what you do in my Maxi 15 FAQ.

And revned, I really like the site. I hope to give you a reason to add to it soon.

Thanks Andrew. It would be great to have you contributing again.

Subsane - When I was looking through the old topic I saw that you had supposedly done those two, but according to your contributor page, you hadn't. I just assumed it was a failed project like so many other peoples' in the topic. I didn't realize you had 2 contributor names. Anyway, I just added them to the list.

adaml, how did you manage to destroy the UFO? There isn't a bomb to pick up before you get to it.... I did destroy it with the infinite bombs thing, but I can't without cheating. I'm nearing completion of the guide, I just need to finish some details.

Rev, I'll try out the 2-player mode later to see if there are extra bombs to pick up, unless Namco expected both players to fight over the same bomb.

Meow, that's good to hear. I haven't had time to get into T&T at all, so a good walkthrough for the game will definitely expediate my play through it ;)

Nope, I just tried it out in 2-Player mode, and no extra bomb. Oh well, I guess it's impossible without cheating.

I've been meaning to ask CJayC to merge my other account under the name of BSulpher with my AdamL account, amassing a grand total of 99 NES FAQs. I'll wait until next year to ask him to merge my 3rd account, ASchultz, with the other 2.

Talk about a FAQing merger ;)

Ahh, Brian, how could I forget about those 2 dudes. WLau is one of my all-time favorites. There are a couple games that would still be on my list of "NES games left to beat" if it weren't for him.

As for The Lost Gamer, I didn't realize he plowed through so many NES games...whoa! I'm still wondering though, where the heck did he get a copy of NES Deja Vu II to write a guide for it?

Holy crap, good luck with that one. Last I heard there are an insane number of levels, and the pick-ups along the way weren't the easiest to find.

atlantis no nazo isn't too bad overall but it has some REALLY hard stages here and there. skrybe has helped me a lot with the game. recca is tough to play here because the rom runs too fast. i'd love to get an actual copy of the game but if it's anything like the other summer carnival games it's probably uncommon/rare.

Atlantis no Nazo is one of those games that leave you wondering whether you actually finished it or not. When you get to the end of the last stage you have the ability to go backwards through the game again...don't know if you accomplished your goal or not.

Funny that Activision was going to slap the lable Super Pitfall II on this and release it in the US. I wonder how this game would have done in the States.

But I wondered what happened to the TG16 one?

I've started FAQing two games. They will be up within 10 days.

I just added 2 features to the site.

First is the statistics section. It's got some interesting numbers for you guys to take a look at. If anyone here were to write a guide for Xybots, every NES game starting with X would be complete (assuming kirbyroks's Xevious guide is accepted). I think it's pretty amazing that our guides make up over 7% of all complete NES games. That's a pretty big percentage.

I also saved the old topic since it's getting purged any day now. I fixed all the links in the pages so that they go to each other, and put it up on the site.

If you liked that you could also FAQ Super Xevious, It's listed twice so it would take away two games off the list.

I think that should do it. I'm not sure if it gets accepted because after level 50 they just repeat so I made a note of that in the walkthrough. Also talked about it in the notes. I hope it gets accepted as full.
