So I've covered about half the map of Meikyu no Fukkatsu, and have done two of the special god recruitment stage sets. ^ Hey that's still pretty quick, nice work. Finally, FINALLY I have managed to get through Murder on the Mississippi. I had to figure out the memo system to continue the questioning. I'll type this up later today and it should be posted soon. |

Truth be told odino, Lolo games repeat puzzles a surprising amount of times so I can often take some shortcuts from my other guides ;). Though most of the ones I've played here have been new to me, there have been a LOT of more action based rooms. The last couple of puzzles did stump me for a bit though so progress will probably slow from this point on. Nice work on getting over your hump. Without documentation, or even simply through design a lot of older games are hard to access due to certain features. You can see people looking through a guide _just_ for clarity on a specific in-game feature. I think a similar thing occurred with Adam and Tetsuwan Atom. --- Complete FAQS: 57 http://faqs.retronintendo.com | http://sms.sitesled.com |

Making good progress on Eggerland. I think I have 17 standard rooms (and at least one is a write-off dialogue room) left to cover on the labyrinth map, I have documented all four gods, and of course I still have to make it into the final rounds, besides those standards. Some of the later rooms in this game are crazy. So I've run into a couple of roadbloacks along the way. --- Complete FAQS: 57 http://faqs.retronintendo.com | http://sms.sitesled.com |

| Not much activity, I'm using most of my free FAQing time for a GBA game these days but I have managed to get through Worm Visitor 2/3rds now. I can't take much more than a few stages per session... |

.I've just submitted my faq for Magic Block. However, only with partial status - due to the fact that I have about 7 stages missing. I simply can't seem to beat those, so I'll need some help - or the faq probably won't get completed. Maybe someone from here could help...? Eggerland: Meikyu no Fukkatsu has been accepted. Devin, Triwailende was still listed as the expected author on the site. Gemerl, I am aware. Such a change has been reflected on the Completed Games list. :) I'm seriously considering just putting PianoChampion's contributions into the Completed list for this project as well... Is piano champion aware of the project or at least made it known that he/she is aware? After all a major criterion that really drives us to write for NES guides in this capacity is that they are currently unFAQed. It kind of seems that piano champion does not want contact, the template used for the credits section of each guide and the general lack of contact information can at least lend some credence to that. The guides as well are just given out, and the user name seems to be a proprietary identity for this site and those FAQs (9 hits on Google). Or, you know, it could be that the Galaxy 5000 guide (for instance) is nearly a direct transcript of the manual? That may be a good reason to hide the identity. I don't have the energy right now to compare any other guides. We've all used material from the manuals. We have. Story, enemy descriptions, names, score tables, whatever. But compare these two. The order's a little different, but that guide is the manual. That said, this is unfortunate as champion's touching some interesting games that people may be unwilling to FAQ - Galaxy 5000, or simply unable to FAQ - Stack-up (requires ROB). --- Complete FAQS: 58 http://faqs.retronintendo.com | http://sms.sitesled.com |

| Well it would be better if somebody makes a real guide than just a manual-type FAQ. Unless there isn't much more to the game anyway. |

Mm, it's pretty interesting. And I love monsters either way so it 's a solid choice for me. My problem report on pianochampion was filed last week and his stuff's still up. I know for sure that George Foreman and Alpha Mission are also rips of the manuals as well. The others sound like they are, but I haven't compared them yet. --- Complete FAQS: 58 http://faqs.retronintendo.com | http://sms.sitesled.com |

Yeah, finish Tecmo NBA Basketball anyway. About the "manuals", I think we should put them back on the list if they do not cover the game. I'm sure they will get a proper guide eventually and they will be much better. I once tried to get a guide removed that was copied from the official walkthrough, but because it credited the site - I failed (that's for 'Seal of Evil' if anyone cares). I've been working a little on Dragon Scroll so you can put me up for that. It will take me a while as so far I've only made little progress. |

Lagoona--I looked at Magic Block. Those are some tough levels. Email me with any ideas you have and maybe something will click & I will let you know. I completed Blodia Land, which was similar but slower and easier. I have this sinking feeling I will be sucked into Scarabeus/Pyramids of Ra by, like, fate and stuff some day, so I might as well sign up for it. --- My glasses! Without them, I'm helpless! |

Andrew, are you gonna FAQ every level from Scarabeus? :) Gemerl, how is that King Kong faq coming along? That is one of those games that I have wanted to play through for years and having a faq to help play through it will be nice. Adam, Not for the first draft! I think it'd be a good plan to map out a perfect run--ie solving all rooms with no errors. Since the game was a proto, we can assume people are using emulators and can just keep trying til they get the level patterns right w/o losing timing. It would be interesting to try every single level but that might require 1) an algorithm to solve the levels(which I may write to solve the later levels anyway) and 2) people willing to hex edit and re-save save states to get maps of all the levels. OR... 3) finding someone who can reverse engineer however Scarabeus manufactured the levels, because 15000 levels can't fit in ~256000 bytes, so it's not on the image Oh, the FAQ would be a ghastly 1.5 MB at the VERY least, too. So I am going with the more straightforward option...for now. --- My glasses! Without them, I'm helpless! |

Adam, so far I've only fooled around with it. I've been pretty wiped out lately, so I haven't actually started playing it for serious. Being both Kong and Konami, it _is_ surprising it was free.
